HOUSE OR GREENHOUSE
Lemon trees are not hardy for British winters so must be grow indoors or under glass, in a greenhouse. It is a lovely plant for a sunny porch, conservatory / orangery. Keep well watered in summer, and add feed occasionally. Water less in winter.
BONSAI
Bonsai trees small enough to place on a table or shelf are no different to normal trees, they have just became miniature by only having limited space to grow, in a small pot. Some bonsai trees are centuries old. If you are interested in Bonsai this sapling can be used to grow a Lemon bonsai tree. It can be placed on a conservatory table or an indoors sunny windowsill.
