Simply position the pond, and leave it to fill with rainwater, or use some water from a water butt. If you install in the summer with little rain, then use tap water, and leave for 24 hours. Add some pebbles and rocks in the water and some native British aquatic plants (plant baskets can be put on bricks for example). A water lily looks beautiful.
